Classes at The Needle’s Excellency

The Needle’s Excellency offers a range of classes for beginners through advanced. 

• Most classes are organized into 4-class sessions, with meetings every other week for 2 hours.
• Class times are as follows:

• Mornings 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 
  Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 
   
  Mornings 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
  Fridays 
   
  Afternoons 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. 
  Saturdays 
   
  Afternoons 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. 
  Mondays and Wednesdays

  • Cost is $100 for a 4-class session; materials are extra. 
  • If you have a scheduling conflict, we will do our best to accommodate you in another class. 
  • For beginners, we recommend a Beginner Sampler, where you will learn basic needlepoint terminology and practices, plus 9 of the most common needlepoint stitches.  Cost is an additional $50. 
  • For experienced stitchers, we offer ongoing workshops.  After selecting a canvas of your choice, we will help you embellish your canvas with a variety of stitches and threads to create a needlepoint work of art. 
  • We also offer specialty classes in Bargello, Irish Lace, Beading, etc.
